writer's block -- beloved songs

"Is there any song you'll never grow tired of hearing? If so, what is it, how long have you loved it, and why?

Oh yeah. Any and all of the below cause me to rewind the tape, and play again and again.

In Your Wildest Dreams -- Moody Blues -- was my husband's and my song during the years we were apart.

Dream Weaver by Gary Wright -- extended version with the funky sounds
Bright Eyes from Watership Down -- I bawl every time
Leader of the Band by Dan Fogelberg -- sadder now that I found out he is gone (2007)
These three were favorites of my best-ever friend who died 24 years ago, who would have been 43 years old this month.

Turn, Turn, Turn by the Byrds -- poignant, deeply meaningful since the loss of my stepdaughter.

Alice's Restaurant -- know it all by heart
Dancin' in the Moonlight by King Harvest
Afternoon Delight by Starland Vocal Band
Red Rubber Ball by Cyrkle
Blinded By the Light by Manfred Mann
I'd Really Love to See You Tonight -- England Dan & John Ford Coley (RIP Dan Seals, too, March 2009)
These are just feel-good songs I have loved since childhood.

When I'm With You by Sheriff -- love that looong high last note!
According to Wikipedia, Freddy Curci is listed in the Guinness Book of Records for holding the longest note in a pop song, timed and submitted by someone at Houston university, at the ending line of "When I'm with You."

Advance Guards by Seals & Crofts -- can't find it on youtube or suchlike.
Smile a Little Smile For Me (Rose Marie) by the Flying Machine
no reason for these last 2 -- obscure, beautiful songs you almost never hear any more.
