where in i get my pregnant grouchies out of my system
i'm still here. i'm still pregnant. lol. i'm 10 days from my due date, so i'm in that "any day now" holding pattern. i'm getting more and more annoyed with people whenever i leave the house. i swear if one more total stranger says something to me about how many sons i have and if i'm trying again for a girl i will go ape crazy on them. it doesn't really bother me if a friend or something that i'm engaged in actual conversation with asks about that stuff, but it really really irritates me when random ladies at the grocery store or target or something are all, "are you having a girl this time?" and then the inevitable "awwwww" when i say, "nope!" stop feeling sorry for me!!! it's annoying!!!! and why do you even care!? i've never seen you before in my life and probably will never see you again, so why do you care and how is it any of your dang business!? and while i'm at it, i will also go ape crazy if one more person tells me i'm lucky i have all boys because girls are A.)so expensive, and/or B.)so much drama. um, that just goes to show how well you do NOT know boys....or my boys at least. want to talk expensive? they all have to be clothed just the same as girls do, and they care about what they are wearing just as much. they have ridiculous appetites- as much as any grown man and i'm not just plucking that food out of thin air. and further more- have you any concept of the amount of destruction my kids bring to my house? we've replaced so many sets of mini blinds that i've lost count. they knock holes in the walls, break toys, color literally ALL over walls, destroy clothing via stains and holes.....they most certainly ARE expensive. and drama- yeah. boys are drama too. if i could make it through a DAY without someone crying, getting bloodied, going to the ER or overreacting to something it would be beyond miraculous. just because they are boys, that doesn't mean that they can't be just as sensitive/stubborn/dramatic. boys aren't better than girls, and girls aren't better than boys and no, i don't need to have a fifth baby just so i can try again for a girl. i'm about to have four children under the age of 7. can i just have a chance to catch my breath?
