here's a nice LOOOOONG post about my weekend and the end of my spring break WITH PICTURES!!! ^_^
friday, i initially had no plans whatsoever. all i was doing that i knew of was going to church for stations of the cross.
i get a call from amanda and she tells me she's in town. she calls right after phoung had called jet and told her that there was ice skating at the civic center after the pilots' game. soooooooo i ask amanda if she wanted to come along. she's up for it and carrie's ok with it sooo after my sisters, mom and i go to church, along with kevin, we pick up amanda and first go to the pjc track so that jet could do her running and my mom could do her walking or whatever. amanda and i get a chance to talk for a while, which i miss SO much. after that we headed for the civic center and when we get there the guard tells us that they sold out of skates or whatever, cause they only open the skating to a few people then stop after a certain amount of people have come or whatever. so we went to wafflehouse cause my mom didn't really feel like going to the movies. ate at wafflehouse. there were some filipino guys that kept staring in my direction or whatever. iiiii don't know if they were looking at specifically me buuuut to be safe i just kept saying "I'M WITH HIM!" to kevin hahahaha.
after waffle house my mom out of nowhere was like, "let's go to manila garden and karaoke" and we all thought it was a good idea, so we went hahaha. it was about midnight by then. kevin wasn't afraid of going up there and singing something and wanted us to choose a song for him buuut he ended up choosing his own songs. "killing me softly" and "kiss from a rose" it took them FOREVER to call him up there. finally he sang killing me softly and it was hilarious! seriously, it was awesome. we video taped it hahaha. it was really fun. GOOD TIMES.
saturday, woke up early to go to legion. first we went to the church and had an hour of meditation and prayer. then we went to the nursing home and sang for the elderly. i stood next to jay r, that kid is so weird! but cool hahaha. after nursing home, we drove around a lot trying to figure out what we were doing. i picked up amanda, then met up with jac, angela, rio and jay r at taco bell. jay r's cousins left him there and so we decided to take him along with us to ski beach on the base and go kayaking. it was the GREATEST. we rented out three kayaks and angela, jet and kevin were in one, jay r, rio and jac were in another, and amanda and i were in the last kayak. we tried racing for a bit but that didn't go far cause we were scared we'd end up waaaay out in the deep end of the water and we didn't want to flip our kayaks out there. mine and amanda's kayak was the last to flip over though hahaha. we rule. after that we all just rowed around where ever and after a while it ended up it was me and jac in one kayak, rio and angela in another kayak and jay r pulling us, cause we somehow drifted far out into the deeper end where our oars were barely showing when we tried to touch the ground underneath the water hahaha. so jay r's pulling and we're rowing and he'd get runned over by our kayaks and it was just a hilarious time. we were laughing our asses off and at the same time trying to be back to the shallower end hahaha. it was great. after that though jay r, who isn't really accustomed to the cold-er water or whatever, kind of froze, like seriously. we got him onto the shore and he kept shivering. it was kind of scary.
after he got better, and everyone had returned the kayaks and oars, MARK decides to show up with randell. they were SUPPOSE to come kayaking with us but they were having a family picnic at barrancas beach.
we decided to go over to barrancas beach and just go swimming there. me, jet, kevin, mark, and angela were the only ones that wanted to swim. jac and rio and jay r had alread changed and amanda didn't feel like swimming. we played chicken hahaha. it was awesome. first it was jet on my back and angela on mark's. angela won haha. then it was me on mark's back and jet on kevins, which was hilarious cause kevin didn't know what to do. jet won that one though hahaha. after we got tired of that we just swam around for a while.
after that, angela had to go home so we dropped her off. took amanda to her house to get a change of clothes, went to my house so i could change clothes. then amanda took me out to eat at gordy's. after that got together with melissa, kevin and jackie and we went back to manila garden to do a little more karaokeing. kevin sang "unchained melody" then we left hahaha. me, melissa and amanda drove around for a place to go. noone at sluggos, noone at the grind, thought we'd go to landmark to go skating because there were probably five cars in the parking lot. duh. middle school kids can't drive. we walk in there's FIFTY BILLION MIDDLE SCHOOL KIDS. it was insane. walked out, decided to go rent a movie. went back to melissa's house. watched the movie. it was boring. melissa went to sleep. then kevin, jac, angela, amanda, renee and i watched waiting. i was sleepy. fell asleep after a while. then jac and i had to leave so we could get home before midnight. took amanda home, got home at like a quarter till.
sunday, went to church, then afterwards went home to get ready to play foot ball at the church's fish fry cook-off thing. we ended up not playing though :( it turned out to be pretty boring actually. buuuuut, afterwards my sisters and i went with DENDAI, mark, kevin, ranDELL and joseph to cici's haha. it was fun. we told them it was kevin's birthday so they made him stand on a chair and we sang happy birthday to him. awesomeness hahaha. after that, they wanted to play pool so we drove around for a while trying to find a place that was open and finally we ended up at legends. i didn't play, cause i can't play pool hahaha. i did however play some panic! at the disco and anberlin on the jukebox, and here's why dendai is SO COOL. he was the only other person in that room that knew that i write sins not tragedies was a panic! at the disco song AND knew the words. THAT my friends, is why dendai is SO COOL. after that, joseph wanted to go bowling. i told him i can't bowl. but he and dendai reeeeally wanted to go. sooo i told them i'd take them bowling but wouldn't bowl myself. me, jet, dendai and joseph, just the four of us, leave to go bowling at felton lanes. i'm driving and joseph and dendai, i guess, think it's soooooooooooo funny when they tickle me and poke me in my side while i'm driving. so yeah, they do that for the whole ride. we get to felton lanes and they weren't open. so more driving and tickling. we get back to legends then decide we want a capuccino, so more driving and more tickling. aye hahahaha. then mark and them call and say that they have to go so we all meet back up at the church cause that's where mark had left his car (he rode with me to cici's). then yeah...
and that was the end of my spring break in a nutshell.
