the other day i was in my car and listening to the radio. tlc's "no scrubs" came on and there's that line where that one chick says "if youve got a shorty but you dont show love, im talking to you"... i had no idea what she meant by shorty.. i was thinking it meant "small weiner"... and like if a guy has a small weiner he should be especially nice because a lady needs a man that carries big things if you know what i mean. but i just..JUST..realized that i think "shorty" means girlfriend.. can anyone give me the history of the word "shorty" meaning "girlfriend"?
