ya know... i'm getting a little angry...
ever hear how people say there is a "liberal slant" in the media? well, i think there is an anti-red sox slant in the media too. watching tv, listening to the radio, and reading articles... they all slam on the red sox, but really fail to credit them with the fact that they are on a 5 game winning streak in the post-season. ok, so they've had some errors. but crap dude, even with lots of errors, look at their bats! give them credit SOMEWHERE. some guy on the radio said, "the last few winners of the world series have not been the best team in baseball".. oh, why is that? because it wasn't the yankees?? the red sox deserve to be in the world series fair and square. this is how the game is played, gentlemen. and now, just because your precious yankees arent in it, suddenly the post season is unfair??
it just seems to me that the yankees or whoever the red sox is playing is constantly high lighted for all their good plays or great hits. but they never high light all the strike outs from our sox pitchers, or great hits (like grand slams and homers) or great plays. all they show are the red sox screwing up.
get over yourself, red sox-haters. even if they don't take the series, they deserve to be there just like any other team.
but, i dunno... i have a good feeling about it. this is the year.
