Amazon DRM-free MP3 Store

Oct 04, 2007 17:05

So this month Amazon launched their new MP3 store. AND IT'S DRM-FREE YAY!
They are even offering a free song from Been Lee called Ripe to get you to try out their service. Hurry though it's only through the 8th!

The pluses are that not only is it DRM-free it's cheaper than Itunes (DRM-Free) songs and they have two labels instead of one for more selection. And they have a niffty downloader that imports your music directly into Itunes so you don't have to move them manually.

The downside is that they have way more selection from universal and emi than emusic where I currently subscribe. (WTF labels!) Oh wells, there are worst evils in the world and I am happy to have the opportunity to use my music the way I want.

Also in AWESOME digital music news Radiohead is allowing it's fans to decide how much they are willing to spend on their new album.
WICKED AWSOME GUYS!!
