Sleepless in Tempe, just doesn't have the same ring to it.
Well, I finally went to the doctor today to address my now 3 week old sore throat. I suspected allergies, and I was right. The doctor said my post-nasal drip was irritating the tissue in my throat. Apparently, snot has a higher ph level than saliva. She gave me a Rx for Flonase and suggested that I take Clariten-D for at least a few weeks straight. I had been taking Clariten just when I knew I was going to be outside for a while, which I guess has been somewhat helpful, because I didn't get a knock down, drag out sinus infection this year. Well, anyways, I took the Clariten around 6:00 and have been feeling great, except for now it is 2:40 am, and I have been awake for almost two hours. I checked the package; may cause sleeplessness. Great. I wish I would have read that before I took it. I should have known because I had to sign for it at the pharmacy, rather than just buying it off the shelf. Must be one of those drugs that can me used to make Meth. I could never do Meth. I enjoy sleep too much.
