A quick note...
On yesterday's game. Lackey pitched a gret game (minus his one boo boo pitch to Javier Lopez)...which ended his (by then) 62 innings without giving up a home run streak (thanks Wash for imforming him...LOL).. He pitched a complete game loss...that totally sucks. Now I don't know what Sciosc was thinking, but it didn't work. We finally had a line-up out there that could produce some runs and then he sits not 1, but 2 of the players involoved (Juanito and Q)...wtf was he thinking? Someone please explain...I mean, I knew we weren't gonna get rid of Finley that fast, but why did he and Casey have to play...can't we just pick a poison...one a day.
The Angels are now in Tampa Bay and pretty nervous about it according to Terry Smith (the radio announcer)...apparently some of the guys were worried about the last night's flight. I'm sure they made it fine...and hope the Katrina keeps her distance.
