So far so good
The Angels have taken the first 2 games against the Dodgers this weekend. Lackey pitched a terrific game last night and Ervin battled through the first few innings tonight...made some great pitches in the 3rd to get out of a bases loaded, 1 out situation and cruised on into the 7th with little problem after. The offense went right back at it Friday night...with GA and Dallas hitting HRs to go along with the other 3 runs. Tonight, while the hits were rare (only 4 in the entire game) they were all bunched together, along with a walk, to put up 3 on th board. And 1 of those hits came off of the bat of one Adam Kennedy giving him a 13 game hit streak (the longest of his career...yay Adam!!). Hopefully, the guys will go out there tomorrow and finish what they started. :o)
Today, Mayra and I went to give blood for the Annual Freeway Series Blood Drive, well unfortunately, I made myself sick (that's the only reason I can think of...since I got really sick the last time I gave blood)...so I was unable to give blood, and was still the sickest person there...it was pathetic!
