YIKES!! What an awful stat. Hopefully, last night was a sign of great things to come for both Wash and the Angels. The Angels did a great job of jumping on the Rangers' staring pitcher in the first inning once again...scoring 4 runs (off of the league ERA leading, Kenny Rogers). Juan Rivera hit a 3-run HR in the inning and Bengie extended his Angel leading HRs off of the Rangers to 4. Erstad's 21 game hit streak came to an end (that fucking Mark Teixeira ROBBED him!), but he had 2 walks and scored both times. And Ersty being Ersty, said "I could care less," of the ending of his streak. Speaking of streaks, Vladdy continued his 27-game hit streak against the Rangers (which is also the number of games he played againt them). That's Big Daddy Vladdy for you!
