Meet Ashley Magnus. She is from the SyFy show Sanctuary and she'll be coming to Fandom after 2x02 'End of Nights Part 2'. If you have seen the show, you are probably a little confused. If you haven't and don't want to be horribly spoiled, don't click the cut!
Ashley is coming to Fandom after her 'death' in canon. In 2x03 'Eulogy', Helen notices that the EM shield was unstable at the precise moment Ashley teleported out of the Sanctuary. This leads her to believe that Ashley may have survived. In canon, by the end of that episode, she has come to the conclusion that it's not possible.
For game purposes, Ashley did make it out alive and with the Cabal mind control broken. She was so horrified by what she had done that she couldn't bring herself to return to the Sanctuary. John and Nikola found her and decided to let everyone believe she was dead for her own safety and Nikola suggested sending her to this odd little island he had heard of.
This means that Ashley will be coming to the island with the ability to teleport, heal and grow the vampiric claws. She will not be openly using those abilities unless she's forced to, however (which I suspect will happen during the first invasion/BDE that she encounters). In the interest of not making her a total Sue, she will not have the telepathic abilities (my extrapolation on that is they were solely to communicate with the other superabnormals) but she will not be easy for other telepaths to read.
Some things to know about Ash:
+ she can and will kick your ass if she thinks you are a threat
+ she is a gun enthusiast and an excellent shot
+ she does not like to show any vulnerability
+ she is the daughter of Jack the Ripper and has inherited his 'killer instincts'
+ she is a professional 'monster hunter' and will not be surprised by much that Fandom has to offer
