I agee with the abortions, but then again, it's the person(s) fault in the first place. People should be responsible. Unless ofcourse they're raped. But I don't neccesarily see punk as a fashion, some people define it that way, but the meaning is always distorted. I don't like Good Charlotte, but hating them because they're not punk sounds kind of silly. And futhermore is just stereo-typing.

Great point on it being the person's fault. I agree there. Abortions are especially needed, I believe, with cases of rape and incest.
Punk itself is not a fashion. But it developed one. The fashion is the center, but it played a big part, especially in the late 70s and throughout the 80s. I don't hate GC because they aren't punk, I hate them because they make crappy music. But what I hate more are the people who go around claiming they are holier than thou becuase they own all the GC albums. Thanks for your semi-counterpoints.

Incest is just disgusting...I don't hate any band, I respect them as people, making music, even if the music entirely does suck. And people who think they're "holly hard core," are just simply following a band wagon, trying to fit in, or just down right stupid. But I can see how one can find that irritating, cuz your's truly, I do to.

I'll have to disagree with you on some level. It's not always the person's fault. I personally practice safe sex. If a condom breaks on you and you get your girlfriend pregnant, it's not like they didn't try to avoid it. And it could ruin their lives to have a child so young as 17 and 18, right before college. If I got my girlfriend pregnant, I'd be at the abortion clinic before you can say "broken condom". Because she's far too intelligent and promising to be set back with my child. she's got scholarships and stuff, she's wicked smart and she's got a lot ahead of her, I don't even know what I'll be doing. It's important to not think of yourslef at this point, but rather both of you at the same time. Both people are involved. It is the persons fault, but it doesn't mean you can't fix that mistake. It saves lives having abortion clinics. Because... Abortions used to be carried out by the person with a coathanger, and this lead to a lot of paralysis and damage... G2G... later punks.

I completely understand where you're comming from. But to have complete "safe sex," there's the pill, and there's the rubber. I DO think abortions are neccesary. But I'm not talking about people in with situation, I'm talking about those who do avoid safe sex, because particularly that's the case.
