Maybe it's just me but I just heard the most ridiculous thing ever. There's a guy at work who's last name is Perry. Decent enough name I suppose. Well I just found out that he had his name changed to Perry from Perez because -- get this -- his wife thought Perez was too ethnic sounding!!! Hello!!! The guy is obviously of Hispanic descent when you look at him, so yeah, he's ethnic! I just don't understand why you would be willing to marry someone but not embrace their heritage. I am completely baffled by this. *shrugs again*

On a completely different note, I won the final table at poker last night. That's always a good feeling. Go me!! This is my second time winning this go around, so I can bring someone in to the finals. I think Crystal, Reen, and Caroline are the only ones not in, but I'll have to check on that. I'll probably give it to one of them.
