Hi! :) My name is Jen and I'm 30 years old. I grew up in New Jersey but currently live on the panhandle of Florida. I'm engaged to the most amazing man in the world and am the mother to two adorable cats. A few years ago I graduated with a Bachelor's in English and a Bachelors in Writing Arts. I'm a veteran journaler but I have not written online in quite some time. I'm hoping to make friends so that they will give me the interaction and friendship that will keep me writing.
I love to read and write. My reading preferences are fiction, historical fiction (especially War of the Roses, Tudor, and Elizabethan era), and fanfiction. I am the author of two Phantom of the Opera fanfictions with many more in progress. I love to watch TV and movies. My favorite shows are Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Once Upon a Time, Supernatural, Dracula, and almost every Marvel thing on Netflix. My favorite movies are The Phantom of the Opera (especially the 1990 version starring Charles Dance), All Marvel stuff, Crimson Peak, and Frozen. I collect anything Frozen, Phantom of the Opera, and Minion related. I'm always down for roleplaying if you're interested (adult-themed only if fictional characters).
Now for the serious stuff. I have Borderline Personality Disorder, Depression, Hashimoto's, and Hypothyroidism. Many of my journal entries will be about these things, as they impact my life greatly. I'm looking for friends who will not feel uncomfortable with me getting into details about these things, and would love to have friends who understand and possibly give advice. I'm very open to talking about these conditions, so I am not adverse to questions regarding them.
I am also a die-hard JessiGrave and RumBelle fan. If you have any issues with either of these fandoms, please reconsider friending me.
I know this is a novel-length description about myself, but I'm hoping for very good friendships to grow from this. One of my best friends came from online journaling over ten years ago, and I'm hoping to get more friends this way.
