(no subject)
Okay, I'm freaking pissed!!
I thought I had to work at 5pm tonight so I got there at 4:45 to find out that I don't work until 5:30. So, I did nothing for like 45 minutes until my shift. Then, I didn't have one single table until 6:30pm. An hour after I clocked on. So for one full hour I did nothing but run food and help everyone else. Because everyone was busy but me.
Then randomly, Lori decided she wanted the closers to take a break. I could have taken a break during the hour I didn't have any tables and I would have saved $5. We have to tip our breakers $5. And my breaker did a total shit job on my tables. One table didn't even tip me because they didn't like the girl who finished them off.
Alright, so after that all of the closers (including myself) were doing a really good job getting stuff done so we could get out of there as soon as possible. Well, at 10:05 (5 minutes after we close), I get a table come in and order Cheese fries. Well, turns out they are friends of a fellow server (David) who apparently invited them to come. And that really pisses me off because I would NEVER do that to David. Anyway, everyone was drinking and sitting in all the tables I had already fucking cleaned. So, I had to redo a bunch of tables. And then they would move AGAIN and mess up more tables!!!
And on top of that, the table that ordered the cheese fries left $5 for the bill. Yeah, cheese fries cost $7.50. Drunk bastards. So, of course I didn't get a tip or anything and I had to talk to the manager to convince him to comp the 2.50 so i wouldn't have to pay for it.
