Sally tries to make sure she makes time for her Babboo. She took so long to complete nursing school...because, let's face it, almost a decade is a long time. Now, she's finally a nurse. She finally has those squeaky white shoes and she is able to spend time with the sweet little newborn babies up in her unit.
But, there's more that she needs to do. She has friends that need to know that she cares, and her brother...good grief! Her brother needs so much help. Sally admittedly gave him a lot of trouble while they were growing up, but it was partially his own fault for having the room she wanted and being born first! But now...he doesn't see his own worth and he wears ugly sneakers. He needs her, whether he knows it or not!
Her sweet Babboo works, too, and makes time for his friends...but she always knows that anytime she needs him, he will do whatever it takes to be there for her. He always has.
When he was sick recently, she had to work. She tried to make sure she took good care of him while she was at home, but inevitably, she had to leave. The thing was, she wasn't sure whether or not she left because she really needed to, or because she wanted to be around those babies.
Sally knew she was selfish...she knew she was a creature of greed. She was used to getting her own way. But, the fact was, she wanted to be different for Linus. He was her Babboo, and now...he'd asked to marry her. Sally would make sure she made time for him...right after she got done finding that perfect wedding dress!
