Oh, but a friend of mine told me he found out that we're existing in an alternate time line, so whatever you had to do at home won't go on without you.

What's there to not understand? Alternate timelines and things like that don't exist. That's something you'd seen in a science-fiction novel.

I won't believe it until I see proof.
