PBS came to Chicago Theological seminary to film a segment on seminaries and sexuality, and it's up on their website:
www.pbs.org/wnet/religionandethics/episodes/march-27-2009/seminaries-and-sex/2511/. It's a cool segment -- not what I would call revolutionary, but nice nonetheless.
One thing that does bug me about the segment is the way they refer to the students who are shown speaking in the classroom scene -- one woman, who is transgendered, is labeled "unidentifed transgendered student," while a cisgendered woman is labeled "unidentified female student." The transgendered woman is, hello, also a woman, and should have been identified as such. (The whole matter could have been easily resolved by either getting both students' names, and listing them, or not identifying gender at all: "unidentified student" would have been perfectly adequate.)
