SGA: Everything by Telesilla

I was home sick this week, getting better after surgery, and so I wanted BDSM stuff, to distract me. You don't want to know about the surgery it's probably the most hideous thing I've ever gone through...okay, so I'll tell you.

They removed a tumor from the roof of my mouth and had to reconstruct part of it with bone paste. I'd always heard that bone growth is one of the most painful things ever, and now I know why. And I'm sick of the taste of vidodin, I just can't tell you.

So I got on the BDSM train. Don't know how long it will go. I stumbled across a story called Every Good Boy Does Fine by Telesilla  (I think from the mcshep lJ), and it's a kinky story where Rodney has a thing for "daddy" and John is able to give Rodney what he needs. It's straight up wrong in all kinds of ways but very fun to read. Then I noticed she had a lot of kinky stories in the AO3, so I decided to read them all....I excluded anything that was unfinished, or a drabble or super short (under 1,000 words) or where McShep wasn't the pairing. I mean, i tried Rodney and Teyla, but it just doesn't work for me. She has about 149 SGA stories, which I'm into at the moment, so even with the exclusions, there's a lot to read.

She's a consistent writer; she doesn't mess around, but gets right down to her theme, which seems to be the exchange of power, and the growth of trust, and seeing inside someone, and giving them what they want simply because they've asked for it. And even if they haven't.

Other than Every Good Boy Does Fine, I had some favorites.

Say It With a Sharpie - This is a remix of another story also called Say It With A Sharpie, in which John writes on Rodney's body, basically his instructions for the day. Stuff like blowjob and cockring...my favorite day was when John writes "Mine." on Rodney, which Rodney adores.

I Only Want Your Trust - This is a series of stories where John develops into Rodney's sub. One thing I liked about Telesilla's bdsm stories is that it's not just about the violence, or the pain, it's about being in a safe place to go where you need to go. Rodney makes a very good top.

You Can Hit Harder Than That - This is a series where Rodney demands that John give him a whipping with a belt because Rodney needs calming down and this is the only thing that will work...and John's the only one he can trust. Which is another thing I like about Telesilla's stories, the same person isn't always the dom. Another interesting note is that John is not easy with what Rodney wants him to do...he kind of likes it but doesn't want to hurt Rodney. Still he gives Rodney what he needs. I adored the realism of this one and wish she would have written more in this vein. The characters were spot on.
