Oh, that SAM!!! He's ornery, that's for sure. But I like that he followed Dean, in spite of everything, even if it was just under the semblance of giving Dean his car back. "Yeah...yeah, THAT's why I'm doing it!"
That's a really good point, actually. I don't think he realizes it right away, but he's starting to get it and put it all together....methodically, the way Sam always does.
LOL..I'm sorry, but I couldn't stop laughing when Sam took like 5 showers in one day..haha I totally understand why Sam is pissed. Yeah, they are fictional characters, but if I was in Sammy's shoes, that wouldn't fly right with me...but thank the heavens it's not me..haha...however, knowing the situation Dean was in...Sammy pretty much cornered Dean to make those decisions with Sam threatening Dean if he claimed he was his brother, literally BEGGING Dean to 'touch' and kiss him...Sam was in a VERY vulnerable state and Dean being Dean did what Sam wanted so Sam could feel safe and not alone.
Why should he give a damn? The car was his; Dean had left it to him. He could sell it to this guy for whatever it was worth, Ralph would know, and buy himself something else. Something new. Nondescript. Why the hell he and Dean drove around in something that was so fucking recognizable was beyond him. *cowers terrified in the corner* Don't do it Sammy!
Sam's only remembering the bits that suit him at the moment. I guess it's the first phase of him dealing with what happened between them. Hopefully in the next part he's gonna remember the bits that leave some of the blame at his feet too, so he can start thinking about Dean's side of the story some.
And maybe hopefully too, he'll start remembering some of his observations of Dean from his unfamiliar point of view in the hospital, where he realised things like just HOW MUCH Dean sacrifices his own needs and wants in favour of Sam's, and when Sam realised that even though Dean couldn't say it, he loved Sam so much, cos maybe then Sam'd realise that it wasn't just some freaky lust thing for Dean, and maybe he could forgive him?

Of course, technically, that's your fault for being so awesome that I couldn't stop, even when I should have been in bed hours before I eventually went, so really, you only have yourself to blame. :P
