I first found information on the Hare Krsnas when I was 7 or 9. My mother gave a donations many years before to some Hare Krsna devotees who were distributing books in NYC. The books were in Spanish and I'd read them and wonder who this beautiful form on the covers were. I knew this was my path from then, though I continued to practice and honor my parents faith, Roman Catholicism. I officially joined the Hare Krsna movement when I was 19 y/o, my first semester in college when I finally met a Hare Krsna in person. The rest is herstory.
