Appointment Fail
Once again, I've managed to escape wisdom teeth removal surgery. Turns out, I don't need my wisdom teeth yanked just yet. The surgeon said I need at least a week to recover cos I told him I was only prepared for three days :P
To celebrate, my mom reluctantly took me to eat at Ihop. We felt really full when we finished eating (we split a pancake combo) but then like two hours later we felt like we didn't even eat yet. Mom took me to 2 thrift stores: one, with cheap clothes and another one with expensive clothes. Today was the first time I've ever seen a real 8-track xD I was surprised they had like records and all the cool stuff you like to see at thrift stores. I saw all these VHS movies and felt like "AHHHH ~<333" I got The Joy Luck Club, Shakespeare in Love, and The Great Gatsby (A&E version). Then we went grocery shopping.
The Joy Luck Club made me cry :/
My favorite character is Jin-mei, cos I relate to her the most. I liked the movie more than the book, but I don't think you'd get the movie without reading the book. Kind of like most novels made into movies...
Anyway, that's my celebration post.
