I didn't lose my keys at the aquarium. They showed up three days later sitting at the bottom of my backpack...can we say supernatural much??
Anyway...
I feel kind of bad. My friend said that Mr Nguyen ( my current alg/trig teacher) was a bad teacher last year because he gave quizzes everyday that he kept failing. At the time, I felt safe being in Ms Zeineddine's (my past algebra 2 teacher) knowing she wasn't accelerated. It was true that Mr N gave quizzes, but they were like SUPER easy...like pre algebra easy. I assumed he changed his quizzing techniques after student complaints. Turns out, he didn't. My friend said those were the quizzes he kept failing. Ouch... but I guess they're easy to me since I've taken the class before. The class itself is a pretty good aura (unlike my last year's math class with tension in the air every day); it's just that I don't know many people because it's a SOPHOMORE class T_T I only know three other people in the class: the teacher aide (who's a friend of a friend I feel awkward conversating with), and two other classmates. They're nice guys, but they don't sit next to me :(
I also feel bad in biology. I'm the teacher aide, and the teacher I aid for is the sophomore PACE bio teacher, Mr. Rita. When he wants me to grade his papers, he doesn't usually give me a key. Why? He expects me to remember how to figure out how many neutrons and protons and electrons an element has or what a valence electron configuration looks like. I don't, and I feel bad for not checking and probably mis-grading his students' papers.
Then I feel bad in Brit Lit, because we were supposed to do an outline for Jane Eyre...and I had a complete mental break down. I just blanked out....couldn't write at all. The teacher didn't accept my brainstorm because he specifically asked for an outline. I didn't get any credits.
I just feel confused in International Relations because we were supposed to pick a country, find an article about it and summarize it. I did that, I chose New Zealand, I found an article about tourism and summarized it. I didn't get credit for it. When I emailed the teacher, she said "Bring in your article and I'll explain it." Well...I already turned in the article and she didn't give me any credit for it! >:(
Pretty much....second week of school = fail.
Upside?
I got money to pay for my grad night ticket. Yayers.
