Wow! The day that I thought would suck....

DIDN'T! First off, I wanted to stay home because I didn't really "study" for a test, so that caused a lot of stress. But, hey, did pretty good on it, I'm pretty sure. I hope so. Also, thought we were going to have a test on Chapter 4-6 in English but WE DIDN'T! Oh yeah! So, I'm good right now. I'm in Computer Programming right now, with nothing to ( Read more... )

Do you (answer yes to all that apply)
This whole section: YES

What is-
A Major Flaw in society: Their inability to cope with the world's differences. I assume we're talking about American society. America is very black and white- things are either good or they are bad and, on the whole, things that aren't "American" are bad. And, of course, when things are "bad", we blow them up. Americans also have NO sense of humour when it comes to their own country. We can mock other people, but once they say something about us, we're breakin out the fighting gloves.

A Major Flaw in me: In you, Ryan? Sometimes you don't know when to be serious. It's not often, but every once in a while you take a joke too far.

A Friend: A friend is someone who'll answer "Yeah" to "Does this outfit make me look fat" if that's the answer. It's someone who knows when to tell the truth and when to comfort you- someone who's willing to put aside their own fun if you're in trouble. Someone who decides that only they can call you names and anyone else who does so gets their ass summarily beaten down. And, of course, someone who can make you laugh.

Your Major Flaw: My major flaw? Oh, gods, I have several. My major flaw is my inability to mold myself to society. Sometimes it's good- it makes me unique- but sometimes standing out is a good thing. I say what I mean when I mean to say it. I'm too blunt sometimes.

Your Greatest Feature: My heart. I might not show emotion a lot- like, I'm not the person who's gonna gush love and romantic feelings toward my boyfriend or anything like that. You can't always tell what I feel because I can hide it...but I'm always feeling. Even if I make fun of someone ad nauseum, I wouldn't hang out with them if they weren't someone I considered a friend, and I would fight tooth and claw for them.

Society's Greatest Feature: I guess I'd have to say our generosity in the face of a crisis.

My Greatest Feature: Your sense of humour.

Your Greatest Risk: I'm a generally cautious individual. I prefer to weigh the pros and cons before I do anything. But I do suit up and fight with weapons...so I guess the risk that I might really get hurt doing that...

Your Greatest Fear: Being lost. I hate that feeling of not knowing where I am or how to get back to home and the people I love. Even if I know where I am physically, if I don't know where my family is, I go insane.

Your idea of:
The Perfect Mate: Someone who's willing to put up with you, good and bad, and someone that you know you can deal with even with their flaws. A mutual friendship that's unbreakable and impenetrable.

The Perfect Date: Super Bowl. Damn, if I could go to the Super Bowl...but in all seriousness, some place we could have fun and talk. Maybe a carnival and then some dinner somewhere where we can sit and talk. Hell, even a trip to Starbucks is good for me...as long as we can converse. I think communication is a good thing.

The Perfect Lover: Same as perfect mate. However, I'd have to add some spontaneous romanticism.

The Perfect Friend: Someone with whom you can laugh, cry, shout, and converse with and still have enough to laugh, cry, shout, and converse about the next day.

A Great Hobby: Practicing being yourself and not being afraid of acceptance.

Heaven: The place you go to after your learn your cosmic lesson and are freed from reincarnation. A place of religionless acceptance where people can just be themselves without discrimination or fear.

Me: ...you are just cool.

If you found a dove with a wing broken on the sidewalk, what would you do? Depends. If it looked like it was healing fine on its own, I'd leave it there. Nature is not something to be tampered with. If, however, is looked like it wouldn't make it or the wing was so funky the bird would never fly again, I'd take it to the vet.

If your love was moving to another country, what would you do? Cry, throw a party, say good-bye, and make sure that we stayed in contact. Friendship and love are hand-in-hand and friendship's a whole hell of a lot easier to maintain than a passionate relationship over long distances.

What is your favorite thing to do: Live, Love, and be Free.
