I write this to you in a hurry- as a scarf down a 'ramen burrito' and a short glass of egg nog (balanced diets are not for the likes of scholars). I'm taking a break from my studies, and I figured to myself, 'it's been long enough since i gave the ol' LJ a good ride'. So, here I am, nibbling on my ramen between sentences and trying to figure out how to pack infinite knowledge into a livejournal entry.

Infinte- not so much, but God really has been teaching me a lot lately. We're on the book of Romans (code word: Romeo and Juliet) and my average hpc (hours per chart) has sky rocketed from .75 to 2.0 there is just so much to learn. At the end of every book, we write a "final application" just talking about some of the things we've learned and practical ways to live those new-found truths out in life. It seems like the past few applications have had no direct relation to the book we studied, but are still so prominent in my mind that I can't avoid them. This book is due on Saturday at noon, but Mr. Knopp and I have decided to make this one a sprint and skip sleeping tonight. Hopefully we'll have the book completed and turned in before breakfast tomorrow morning. That means a lot of work, a lot of not talking or science experiments or acrobatics or theological discussions (which doesn't happen often when we work together) and allowing for minimal break times (one at 9 pm for indoor soccer and laundry and one or two during the caffine-demanding, fleeting hours of the night. What's at stake? If we finish by tomorrow afternoon 1) We will allow ourselves free time to bake mini cookie cakes in the toaster oven and 2) We start the next book 3 days early, starting a pattern of finishing books early, leaving time for thanksgiving trips and relaxing and all that.

I don't know what I'm doing for thanksgiving. I think I may be eating at some ladies house, but we've kind of decided that me and the one other girl that will be here are going to eat at our respective "host houses" and then quickly escape to the nearest sports bar to drown ourselves in milkshakes and football.

I just finished my ramen burrito dinner, and thus consequently, my live journal entry. I miss everyone at home and my ultimate frisbee frisbee is hanging on a hook on my wall next to my bed, constantly reminding me of the good times. (I'll be home for Christmas so don't you dare not want to play). We throw the frisbee around a bit during class breaks, but running on icy hills to catch a frisbee that's wet, only to catch snow in your eyes and grass stains on your jeans is less than utopian by any means.

Back to work! I've got appx. 10 charts and 3 essays to do before 7 am. 12 hours and counting!
