I swear I totally didn't forget about this. I promise. I just didn't have time with work, and being sick and all.
I suck at lying. But most of that isn't a lie. I really have been working hard and being sick over the last little while.
Today is my first day off on a Saturday without being sick or anything since my exams in June. Isn't that sick? That's about six weeks of not doing anything on a Saturday.
Anyways, not a lot has happened in the last little while. Last week I had a crazy high fever, around the 40s, and then it dropped dramatically to the low 30s and then it went back to normal the next day. Next I started having huge pains in my diaphragm and chest so I went to the doctor and I got my chest scanned and it turns out I wasn't sick or anything, I just pulled a muscle in my diaphragm. That's how retarded I am; I do no physical activity whatsoever (don't tell me rowing coach, VanBruggen, he told me to exercise every other day. I haven't really done much since my concussion)and I still manage to pull a muscle! Honestly. I need help. So I didn't go to work or anything for another week. I still had a lovely, juicy paycheck yesterday.
...Which I spent on a Steve Madden bag, a peasant shirt, a Panic! At the Disco CD (I FINALLY got it! After almost a year of listening to them religiously, I bought their CD!), a Michael Buble CD (just for Mom; plus it was part of a deal to buy two CDs for $25), an ice cream from Purdys, a frappachino and a card for my brother's 19th birthday tomorrow. So much for trying to make $1,500 by the end of the summer.
But I shouldn't feel guilty. Honestly, I shouldn't, and I don't really. I've had the shittiest month of July. A concussion, doing nothing because of said concussion (not even work; although they paid me while I was gone), no friends, a fever, a pulled muscle that led to breathing problems. Seriously. I deserved a Steve Madden bag.
Lesley and I are opening a T.R. Knight fan website. We realized the only thing we're both obsessed with is Grey's Anatomy (along the same line McDreamy, Mer/Der, Sandra Oh, George/T.R. Knight) so we're going to open a website. I'm basically HTML illiterate, so I'm writing the biography and junk. Because writing's what I do. God forbid I finish something more than five pages long on Microsoft Word, but I write.
(Happy belated Birthday to Kirsten & Simone!)
Anyways, I'll write again soon. Probably about how much work sucks because I have to get up at 6:30 tomorrow morning. They so do not pay me enough for the effort I put in at work.
