34. What's Your
St@tus? by Katie Finn pages 368- This is the second book in the Top 8 series. I had no idea this was coming out. I just saw it in the store with Aly and had to get it!
My Review:I didn't find this book as interesting as the first book. It might have been because it was based more on the prom and it just seemed not as intense and shocking as the Top 8 book. I actually was dissapointed and I think that's why I had stopped reading it and hadn't finished it.
Recommend??---Now this is the second one in the series and from the ending it sounds like there will be a 3rd book, So if you can get it at the library do.

mad_mac Well, except for the fact that I still might be failing history.
mad_mac And I no longer have a BFF.
mad_mac But aside from those things!
mad_mac Okay. So, um, apparently I’ve just been put in charge of the school’s priceless heirloom.
mad_mac And the assistant headmaster has a vendetta against me.
mad_mac And it seems I’m being blackmailed.
mad_mac Gathering together a crew. I’m going to try and pull off a heist. Without getting caught. Or expelled. Or arrested.
mad_mac Also, I think I may have just accidentally wrecked my relationship. . . .
Madison MacDonald is trying not to panic.
35.Tweet Heart by Elizabeth Maderick pages 264. I randomly saw this book at the bookstore when I went with Tony after work. I have been reading a lot of social networking books and this just fit right in.
My Review: At first this was hard to read. I couldn't get a grabst on the characters. I'm used to reading Instant messagener but it just was jumpy. Now I sadly to say Don't Have Twitter! I know! how many people can say that. I've never made an account. I just didn't because I couldn't keep up with the other social networks I'm in. Tony showed me his so that I could figure out the layout of this book. It also is written in email and blog format. I did enjoy the realtionship btw the friends online. You could see the struggle of the realtinships. Lottie was my favorite. She was such a tease with boys and yet she got what she wanted in the end. Claire was OK. She did annoy me at times. Will just seemed like a typical guy trying to hard to get Clarie attention. It was funny when his little plan to get Claries attentions back fires on him. Bennette cracks me up with all his gaming. He says the funniest things about Star Wars and HP. I felt that this authour did great for this being her first Novel. She's smart writing in this format bc this is what has really became the way of communication for teenagers and even adults now. It's becomming more internet based with realtionships and friendships. It's a big part of my life. I'm on the internet a lot and use facebook and Lj and ICQ messaging and Yahoo messaging still to talk to people.
Recommend??-- Yes it was rather interesting bc of it being written in Twitter format and email. It made for a fast read even though it took me awhile to read it. If you like social networking books then you will like this book.
Book review for GoodReads.com---Claire is a #hopelessromantic. Lottie is determined to set up her BFF with Mr. Perfect. Will wants his #secretcrush to finally notice him. Bennett is a man with a plan.
Claire can’t believe it when her dream guy starts following her on Twitter. She never thought he noticed her, and suddenly he seems to understand her better than almost anyone.
But the Twitterverse can be a confusing place, especially when friends act differently online than they do in person. Things get even more complicated when Claire realizes she’s falling for someone else, the last person she ever would have expected….
Told in an innovative format combining tweets, emails, and blogs, Tweet Heart is a contemporary romantic comedy that will set your heart atwitter
36. My Life in Pink & Green by Lisa Greenwald pages 288. This is the book that
sugarrtown wanted really bad one day on our adventures at the book store. I got it on Half.com for 0.99$ of course shipping was like 2.99 but the good part is that the book was originally like 20.00
My review: I really enjoyed this story. I really related to her thinking about One Scoop or Two. She was attached to the Pharmacy that she grew up and was willing to try anything to save it. She's actually very smart for her age. She's in middle school. Her knowledge from stocking products has really helped her to find good way to save the shop. I liked reading about all the Going green ideas. I loved her realtionships with her family and friends. I like reading about small town stories.
Recommend??-- Yes I found this a nice good story which is what I was looking for. Also if you like reading about a girl saving the planet with recycling then get it
Book review from Goodreads.com---Twelve-year-old Lucy Desberg is a natural problem solver. Lucy dreams up a solution that could resuscitate the family business and help the environment, too. But will Lucy’s family stop fighting long enough to listen to a seventh-grader? This book is a funny and sweet debut featuring an unforgettable narrator who knows what she wants, whether it’s great makeup, a killer business plan, or a better world
37 TMI by Sarah Quigley pages 288- This was a random book that I saw online and thought that it sounded good and decidied to get it online through half.com
My review-Honeslty it was cute. I thought that it would have been better but I still enjoyed reading this book. I enjoyed reading her little stories that she based on her life but that were more fictional than her life. I felt bad for her when everyone found out about the blog. I mean she did kind of do a stupid thing. You have to be careful of what sites you look up in publics venues. Her dilemma with her blog feels real and that it could happen to anyone. I always seem to have a fear that someone will break into my LJ and be able to see and read all of secrets. I would seriously have some major issues if this happened.
Recommend??? Yes but I wouldn't buy it full price. It's not something that I would recommend to a friend if they wanted something to read. If they had read everything else that I had recommened then Yes I would tell them to read this book.
Review from Goodreads.com---Friends call Becca the Overshare Queen, but her tendency for TMI never seemed like a problem to her until she blabs about her sweet band-geek boyfriend’s sloppy kisses-and gets dumped! Realizing it may be better to resist the temptation to overshare face-to-face, Becca decides to blog anonymously about everything instead. On her blog, Too Much Information, Becca unleashes her alter ego, Bella. Bella tells it like it is . . . though perhaps with a bit more drama. After all, no one’s going to read it, right???
38 Hunger Games By Suzanne Collins pages 374 - borrowed from
sugarrtown . I've heard that these were great books and my friend Aly had gave me the 1st 2 books to read. I finished reading the book while I sat poolside at the Hard Rock. Just a perfect place to read. finished mid October
My Review: I'm having a hard time figuring out what to say about this book. I did take a long time reading it which I'm not really sure how it took me so long. About a month. I have been busy with my life but this book took me away from my world and I fell right into the hunger games. There is so many decisions that I could write about this story that I fidn it hard to figure out what to say. Katniss's battle with the Capitol moves me. She stands up and fights for her life. I'm rather baffled at how she was able to do it but with the help of Peeta. So many times I thought that Peeta would betry her. The detail and writing of this book was magnificant. I would get lost in the reading of the book. I just wouldn't want to stop reading the book. I engrossed my self in the book. I found that I would lock myself in the bathroom just to get some privacy so that I could be alone and read. I haven't read a book that has keep me up thinking about it for a long time since I read As Simple As Snow. The plot stays in your mind even when you think that your mind is distracted.
Recommend???--- EVERYONE. I still can't get over this book
Review from Good reads.com--
Could you survive on your own, in the wild, with every one out to make sure you don't live to see the morning?
In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by twelve outlying districts. The Capitol is harsh and cruel and keeps the districts in line by forcing them all to send one boy and one girl between the ages of twelve and eighteen to participate in the annual Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live TV.
Sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen, who lives alone with her mother and younger sister, regards it as a death sentence when she steps forward to take her sister's place in the Games. But Katniss has been close to dead before-and survival, for her, is second nature. Without really meaning to, she becomes a contender. But if she is to win, she will have to start making choices that will weigh survival against humanity and life against love
39. Catching Fire By Suzanne Collins pages 391 borrowed from
sugarrtown . This is the second book in this series and when I finished the one, I just had to read this one!
My review: What a cliffhanger! I have read some books and the cliffhanger is OK but this one, I just was like OMG!! WHAT!!! Then sadly I realized I didn't have the last book! I didn't think there was as much action as the first book. Granted when she had to go back to the Games my mouth dropped opened! I can't even go into this book and write all the things I loved about this book. I got lost in this book. It was such a great feeling.
Recommend?--- Yes! READ IT!!
Book review from Goodreads.com-Against all odds, Katniss Everdeen has won the annual Hunger Games with fellow district tribute Peeta Mellark. But it was a victory won by defiance of the Capitol and their harsh rules. Katniss and Peeta should be happy. After all, they have just won for themselves and their families a life of safety and plenty. But there are rumors of rebellion among the subjects, and Katniss and Peeta, to their horror, are the faces of that rebellion. The Capitol is angry. The Capitol wants revenge
40. Goddess Bootcamp by Tera Lynn Childs pages 224. This is
sugarrtown 's book which she let me borrow. I had borrowed the first book and she let me borrow this one. Finished this one whle Tony was in the hosptial on Nov 1,2010.
My review: I'm really liking this series. I like how it basically left off right where the book ended. I did like her struggle she was having still with her powers. Stella is such a bitch but i love her. She treats Phobe like crap half the time but it's so funny. I liked the first book more but this was a fun read, nothing too serious which made it a nice read after reading Catching Fire which was intense.
Recommend?---- Yes but you have to read the first book!
Book review form Goodreads.com----Phoebe, who recently discovered she’s a descendant of Nike (the goddess, not the shoe), is finding that supernatural powers come with a crazy learning curve. Her stepfather, headmaster of the Academy for descendants of the Greek gods, has enrolled her at Dynamotheos Development Camp-aka Goddess Boot Camp-with a bunch of ten-year-olds for the summer. Embarrassing as that is, hopefully it’ll help her gain control over her powers in time to pass the test of the gods, continue training hard enough to qualify for the Pythian Games, and enjoy her godly boyfriend, Griffin, all while avoiding the ultimate mistake of accidentally misusing powers.
It’s another fast-paced myth-inspired heroine’s quest that’s sure to bring out the goddess in anyone
41. I'd Tell You I love you, But then I'd have to kill you (Book #1)by Ally Carter pages 284
