The most amazing thing has happened. I met somebody who knows Edward!
His name is
Robert, oh, and he's very nice. He is from a kingdom called New York - I am unsure where that is, or what happened to the old York, but then I have never been further than the edges of the Valley of Contentment. Except for coming here, of course. I think that here must be very far away from home indeed.
He knew my name, which means that Edward must have been talking about me! Isn't that romantic? Oh, I hope he's not too worried.
All these months without a word and now this! It's a sign, I'm sure of it. Something wonderful is going to happen!
How is everyone else? I'm afraid I've been so busy and just a little absent minded and I haven't caught up like I should. Although Faye, I saw that you have all sorts of old friends arriving! New friends are always nice to make, but there is something so cheery about old ones. I would love to meet them; you're such a special person I'm certain that your friends will be special too. And lucky!
Oh and Robert, I know you act like you don't mind wearing Alec's funny clothes, but, well, I made you
something a little
more like
home.
