Happy Birthday, Wooyoung <3
“Can we go out for dinner tonight? I have something serious to tell you.”
Worry can be shown clearly on Wooyoung’s face. He is afraid that Khun is angry with him because Khun has ignored him for one week. He does not want to get into trouble with his best friend, especially today, on his birthday. He wants to celebrate his birthday together with Khun.
What is the serious matter about? Is he angry with me? But what did I do wrong?
Wooyoung sighed. He decides not to think about it anymore and he will just wait until dinner time to listen to Khun’s ‘serious’ words.

At night,
Wooyoung walks towards the café where he always meets Khun but the café is totally dark.
Why is it dark? I thought it was not supposed to be closed on Friday.
Suddenly Khun comes and taps his back.
“Hey, Khun, Is it closed?”
“No. Just go in. I’ve called the owner. They are supposed to close the café this Friday but he allows me whenever I want.”
“But I feel that I’m not supposed to…”
“Just shut up and follow me!”
Wooyoung shuts his mouth up. He has never seen his best friend shouting at him. His heart is getting faster and faster. He is afraid that Khun hates him and their friendship will be broken.
After entering the café, they sits at the centre table and Wooyoung starts to speak out about his worry.
“What do you want to say Khun? Are you angry at me?”
Khun smirks.
“Yeah I am. I’m not just mad at you but I hate you. And the serious matter that I want to say is that I don’t want to be friends with you anymore.”
Wooyoung is shocked upon hearing Khun’s explanation.
“But what did I do wrong?”
“Huh? You never realize it right? I knew it. You, ignorant jerk, need to know that you did a lot of mistakes and there is one big mistake that pissed me so much.”
“What? Why? When?”
Khun does not answer that question and instead he calls the waiter to order some food. Wooyoung is so sad and he still doesn’t understand why Khun does that to him. They have been friends since they are in the kindergarten. Is it a short period of time?
Not long after that, the waiter came again with their orders. Khun starts to eat calmly while Wooyoung has lost his appetite. He is still looking blankly at the floor.
“Eat,” said Khun.
Wooyoung looks at his friend with his teary eyes. Khun ignores those tears and points at Wooyoung’s food using his chin. Wooyoung looks at his plate weakly.
He opens the lid of his plate. He is shocked after seeing the food on his plate. It is not a dinner meal. It is a small cute cupcake with a small little candle on it.
Happy birthday, Wooyoung
Wooyoung reads the small letter beside the cake. His tears fall. He looks at Khun who is smiling widely.
“Khun-ah, so you are not really mad at me right? And we are still friends, right?”
“Who said so? The one that I say I don’t want to be friends with you is true. The one that I said you did a big mistake is also a truth. Only that one that I said I hate you is wrong.”
Wooyung is confused once again until Khun takes out a box from his pocket and opens it. It is a ring.
“You made a big mistake for making me fall in love with you. I don’t want to be friends with you cause I want more than just friends,” says Khun.
Wooyoung is surprised with his friend confession. He does not give any reaction.
“Will you be mine?” asks Khun again.
“I… Yes. I love you too Khun,” said Wooyoung.
Khun is happy upon hearing those words from Wooyoung. He comes closer and kisses Wooyoung’s lips smoothly.
“I’ll be with you forever, Woo,” whispers Khun.
