From the beginning, I had decided that one of my posts for Jamie Day would be a list of reasons why he is such an amazing character. These two posts are fantastic; can't wait for the third. :D I only discovered the love that is the Second Doctor and his companions last year and I am annoyed at myself for not giving it all a go earlier. It's just so wonderful, all of it. But PARTICULARLY Jamie. And his pout. And his kilt. And his inappropriate touching. ♥

And yes, the Second Doctor era is truly magnificent - and Jamie's pout is a thing of beauty.

I think I became a Jamie fan when I first saw that scene, some years ago (episode 2 of The Abominable Snowmen being the first Second Doctor thing I ever watched). I just had this enormous urge to give him a hug. Needless to say, the moment I found the clip I knew it had to feature in this post.
