[Background]

Juliet has lived a life of many faces and thousands of questions. Unsure of her past, she walks the streets as both Odin, a boy working for Willy in his playhouse, and the Red Whirlwind, a crusader for justice. Even though she is told countless times not to bring attention to herself, Juliet cannot abide just standing to the side as people are hurt and crushed for no reason. Her sense of duty and honor is perhaps the strongest in the show, but her zeal for justice has made life very difficult for all around her.

When Juliet, as the Red Whirlwind, is rescued by a mysterious noble, life seems to get a little brighter for her. She starts to wonder about love and what it is - though she does not know why she wonders these things. It is not until she is accidentally mistaken for Emilia and swept off to the Rose Ball that events in her life start to come together.

She once again meets that mysterious noble, under a sky of delicate irises and roses, all falling softly around them - his name is Romeo and Juliet's heart skips a beat. She is not quite sure how she feels just yet, but when he comes across her on her birthday. Finally, she reveals her name to him, and he comments on her affinity for Irises. She leaves him quickly, in a hurry to return before she is seen outside as a girl.

Finally, she is 16. The age at which her caretaker Conrad promised to reveal the reason she has been forced to be 'Odin' for 14 years. The answer was far from what she expected. Late on a raining night, she is taken to a ruined cemetery with no name marked. Dozens of men swarm behind her through the dark and the bow deeply. Conrad reveals her true name and identity as the only living child of the former Grand Duke Capulet: Juliet Fiamatta arst Capulet. Montague, the current Grand Duke, is the culprit behind their slaughter. It seems that she is now meant to be the point at which the surviving Capulet servants mount a revolution. Caught in deep shock, the young girl feints with her father's sword in hand.

Unable to really deal with this news, Juliet falls in to a bit of a depression. However, when a doctor is arrested for assisting her masked alter ego, she is quick to rescue him. But without a very solid plan she is quickly trapped on the roof. Enter Romeo and his brilliant plan to trick the guards. After a quick bout with the Red Whirlwind, he pulls both her and the doctor down with him in to a canal below. This is when Romeo's full name is revealed to the love struck girl, and she is left in utter horror at the discovering of his lineage. Again, she sinks in to a deep depression. If discovering her tragic past wasn't enough, now she has discovered her love is the son of the man that killed her family. Juliet cannot stay still forever, and she sneaks out one early morning to visit her parent's grave again. She is left in despair, but hears the sounds of a Dragon Horse and is once again confronted by Romeo. However this time she is disguised as Odin; he shouldn't recognize her. So she decides to take this rare chance to be close to him.

But the weather is not on her side, and it begins to rain again. They need to land and find shelter. But she refuses to tell him where she lives and insists that she doesn't want to go home. So, the disgruntled noble decides to land his horse near a cabin where they can take refuge from the rain. He makes a fire to dry their clothes and strips down to only his pants and boots. But the disguised Juliet refuses to so much as remove her cloak. He teases 'him' for being shy, they're both male after all, and reluctantly goes out to dry off his horse and give her time alone. But just after the girl removes her wig, he comes back in without warning and her secret is discovered.

Juliet at this point becomes a love struck girl completely unaware of the evils transpiring in the city to snare the Red Whirlwind, in other words her. When her best friend Antonio finally lets her in on the soldier's plan to burn alive men accused of being the rebel. Distraught and controlled by emotion, she runs to the city square but is stopped by her guards and caretakers. One even goes so far as to scold her for her infatuation with the noble boy and disregard for the city. The same doctor she had rescued not so long ago donned his own mask, hat, and cloak to die as the Red Whirlwind in her stead. Again, she is thrown into deep sorrow, but does not hesitate to reveal the truth of her lawless counter-part to a confused Romeo (who already had suspicions).

Juliet forces herself to 'toughen up' and even tries to cut off her long hair. Taking up her father's sword, she decides to do exactly as Conrad wished and lead an attack against the demon Duke. But they are caught in a trap by a traitor and Juliet must flee. Arrangements had already been made with Tybalt, a mystery she and the others had met earlier, and he sweeps her away to the red district of the city. But the young princess is caught in a daze and wanders away before collapsing in front of a convent. It just so happens to be the same convent that Romeo's mother escaped to when she left her husband. She knows from one look at the girl's blade that she is the last Capulet and takes her in. She already knows the connection her son has to her and summons him quickly to the abbey.

When she awakens the two teenagers decide to run off together and forget their family connections. For the first time since they met, the two are carelessly happy together and fly as far from the city as they can. The boy releases his steed, however, and they must continue on foot and then by boat. They come across a beautiful abandoned church settled in an iris field and they have a bit of a makeshift wedding. They exchange vows and spend the next few days living together in an old house like newly-weds. But a trip to get water from a spring gives Juliet a scare, and she is wracked with pain. Not understanding, she quickly runs away. But they need food, and on a venture to the nearby town, they witness an attack by the Duke's forces; they are looking for Lord Romeo. They try to fight them off together, but in the end they are both caught, and their identities revealed.

Needless to say, the Duke is overjoyed at finally capturing the girl he had spent all these years searching for. Though Romeo tries to plead for her life, she is condemned to public execution. But her allies will not have that and a rescue mission is quickly mounted to break her out of the dungeon. She is separated for a little while from her rescuers and finds herself in a strange chamber with a large tree and while woman. The odd, cloaked woman recites a strange prophetic verse before sending Juliet on her way. Still unconscious, she is released back out through the castle's fountain. From here, Romeo reunites with her and gets her back to the men fighting to save her.

Now that she has been discovered, she must leave the city to keep the Duke from finding and killing her again. She thought she was safe, but then she fell asleep and found herself in a new and mysterious world.

[Personality]

Juliet has two sides. On one, she is a charming, cute girl and the other a determined revolutionary. She can be fierce in battle, but quickly softens when with friends or loved ones. Though, together with that, she will protect those very same people with the ferocity of the deadliest predator. However, she is extremely emotional, and often lets herself get carried away without thinking very carefully. As such, she can get out of control, and her care takers have to clean up if they aren’t able to stop her. But she is loyal and self-sacrificing and would rather keep her sorrows inside than share them. But she doesn’t bear them stoically. Juliet is very prone to falling into deep depressions that can lead to her getting physically ill.
After she escapes from Montague’s castle, however, she begins to grow a bit of a tougher skin. She still bears her sorrows and fate alone, but is able to hide it more carefully. Those close to her can easily pick up on her more solemn moods and confront her about them. But to outsiders, she just seems like a sweet, lovely girl with no mean or violent streak at all. Her smile lights up cold rooms and her lighthearted attitude can lift even the worst spirits.
As the Red Whirlwind and the safety of her mask, she is an eccentric, sarcastic, and fiery hero. Saving damsels, breaking out captives and causing all around headaches for the totalitarian nobles of the state are just some of the offenses on her resume. But as Odin, she is more or less just as she is as Juliet: A bit shy, soft spoken and sweet, only she appears to be a boy.

In Somarium, she has no need to hide her gender, so Odin and the Red Whirlwind are less important. Though, she may on occasion don her mask for the good of the people of the dream world.

[Specialties/Abilities]

Juliet is very skilled with the blade and quite a good actress. She is also very charismatic when she needs to be. But she has no magical powers; she is only a normal human. And while her sword skills are top notch she could never beat a true master, especially if this master had other special abilities.
She is not domesticated…not even a little.

[Affection]

Juliet is very sweet. If you're nice to her, you will be able to be her friend and she'll be loyal~

[Fighting]

She would like to avoid fighting as much as possible, so doesn't carry her sword around with her. But if challenged, she will never back down from a fight.

Read her mind, whatever. More fun that way~
