My day so far.
Today was pretty good. I saw Anna at Target. Love her. I also ran into Kirby. She was my ex-best friends ex-sister-in-law. I know that sounds complicated, but we all used to be tight. I babysat her kids more times than I can count. I've missed her. It was so much fun seeing her again. We're both kind of the outcasts of that family.
Then I made a little kids day. I ran into a family I go to church with at Walmart. People were coming up to them saying hi and playing with the baby, but no one was really paying any attention to Jean Marie (She was in the class I taught). When I got close she recognized me and I waved and said hi to just her and kept walking. She got so excited. It was adorable.
I'm on baking overload. No more cooking. Cooking is evil. But on the bright side, all of the sweets are made for our Christmas Eve party.
Tomorrow I have to go to my Dad's side of the family for Christmas. To say I'm not looking forward to this is an understatement. I'm probably going to bail early. Dad won't be happy, but I'll think of some excuse.
