SO MAD
Okay, Tyler returned for the weekend, and I'd been organizing this night for us to go see a movie and chill, and was SO excited to see him.
We called each other like 6 times today to plan out what was going on, and decided that after this lecture he had to go to that ended at 9, we would meet up and see a showing at 10.
Before the lecture, he called and said that Laney, who's leaving for UCLA tomorrow, wanted to join us. I was a little let down, since I kinda wanted time to talk to Tyler, but I was glad to get a chance to say goodbye, and the more the merrier, right?
I also realize that I can't, as of now, drive after 12. I make a mental note to ask Tyler if he can pick me up before the movie.
9 comes and goes.
9:40 Tyler calls and says Laney wants him to pick her up at her Starbucks, which is a loong drive from my house and the theater. He sounds like he doesn't think he can make it. I explain my driving dilemma and say that it doesn't look like this will happen.
THEN he starts getting all weird, saying that we had planned this first (very true) and that should take priority. I was SO confused - what would happen to Laney? Doesn't he want to see her? How in the hell would I get to the movie?
I ask him if he has plans on Saturday. I don't really get an answer. Instead, I get some lame thing about "hope school goes well," like he's just dismissing me from his life or something.
Of COURSE I'm disappointed that I don't get to see him. So disappointed that I'm crying right now.
But what in the hell did I do wrong here?
