(no subject)
Last weekend was awesome beyond words. Nevertheless, I'll talk about it.
Saturday morning, Pulse was singing at this market thing, and we picked up $34 and change in tips from our 45-minute set, so that's not too bad. Then I went to the mall to meet TENLEY! The strange thing about us is that even though we're best friends, we almost NEVER see each other outside of school. This is, like, the third time in three years. So we shopped around for a while and went to her house and just talked. Her parents (the sweetest people ever) took us to dinner, and we watched some of The Breakfast Club, but mostly just talked until 2.
I don't I've ever had a more rewarding conversation. It was crazy.
Anyways, the next morning I drove to Sean's because Pulse was meeting with Deke. Again, he's hilarious, and I'm so excited for this album. Things are sounding great (knock on wood).
Otherwise, things are going well. We had midterm evaluations on Thursday for TAI, and it was the first time we really ever had positive feedback, which was nice. We had a master class on Friday with this really famous broadway actress, and I had a blast working with her, and had one of the best performances that I've had as of yet in the program. So, yay.
Yesterday, Lizzie, Dan, Brett, Nic, and I went to dinner for Steph's birthday. We drove to Nic's house where a lot of WSS people met us. It was fun; I miss hanging out with those people a lot...that's one regret I have about doing this acting thing every day.
Unfortunetly, I have a shitload of summer work to do, so that might be one of the last gatherings for me this summer, aside from my birthday, hopefully. We'll see.
