Mm...right. Okay. So.
It's standardized testing season! Classes are fine. AP English Language and AP French are history, so now I'm watching movies in french and writing tons of papers in English (who knows why?). Studying for Physics is pointless, yet I should be doing that. Um...SAT IIs were ok...math IIC can die, but french and writing moved along. It's just frustrating because as soon as I finish something, I'm all "YES! I finished [whatever], I finished [whatever]! Now I can.....start....[something else even more demanding]." Talk about mood swings. S'all good though because it's almost summer.
Speaking of which, I'm formulating summer plans, which have many limitations as I'm busy with TAI for 9 weeks out of 11. Nic and I are going to visit Northwestern together, I'm planning something cool for my birthday, and Mike might be visiting from North Dakota on his road trip before college, which would be awesome. I really want to actually vacation someplace for a couple days though. Hrm...need ideas.
I talked to Michael for three hours last night, which is absolute madness for a girl who spends 20 minutes on the phone, max. He's pretty awesome, although I think he needs to find a girlfriend or something to divert his attention from things like Friends, bad movies, and feeling sorry for himself. We're planning a movie night for this summer which will rock, if it ever happens. Bottom line, we enjoy each other's company, so that's all I could ask.
Meanwhile, Nick is weird. I don't know really what else to say about that, except I don't think I will ever understand guys. Not in this lifetime, anyways.
These entries are starting to all sound the same. Hm....I could revert to...THIS DAY IN NICOLE'S LIVEJOURNAL HISTORY!
On May 5th, 2002, I was going into tech week for Guys&Dolls, I discovered hilarious slogans Raizin wrote about Andrew, and I reviewed my "crush cycle of shame," which is still eerily applicable today.
Hm....also as a sidenote: Gavin Newsom is really pretty cool. I had my doubts, I tell you, but he is running things relatively well. Except for the homelessness thing. And then there's the public trans thing. But honestly, I could think of worse. In fact, that's not even a bad slogan...he should use that.
