Today was so beautiful. Days like this always make me feel so content. Who cares that I have 3 physics assignments left to complete? In the grand scheme of things, it doesn't matter.
Accordingly, things have been good.
School is alright. Spirit week was last week, which is usually fun, if only because of the fact that there are no major assignments and we get out 30 minutes early from classes. Juniors got an embarrassing third place, but everyone knows that we deserved first and really, who cares?
"Pirates" is entering its last two weeks of rehearsal, which is a little frightening, but I'm confident that we can pull it all together and have a really great show. I worked for a few hours today sewing costumes (mine is BRIGHT yellow...you, uh, can't miss it) and had a good time talking to everyone. I feel like I'm part of something now, which is always a nice feeling.
We met with DEKE yesterday, and my oh my, it was the best time ever (San Jaygo? Deke the pimp...awww yeah). We practiced his arrangement of "Good Things" (www.housejacks.com) which was really awesome. He said my eyes were cool, heh. PLUS, he said that he's going to arrange a time where we can OPEN a CONCERT for them in the fall. How sick is that? AND we're going to model for the covers of his vocal arrangement books which, with the e-mail Megan sent me about modeling for her books, makes me feel that I'm actually doing something instead of sitting around on the computer.
I do so love that feeling.
We're planning our college trip to the East Coast, so that's kinda cool. I haven't been there for 6 years. Deke is getting the Beelzebubs (his old a cappella group) to give me a personal tour of Tufts, fun stuff!
I went on a picnic with Peter on Friday, and then went to see Les Mis with Nic, Embo, VZ, Dan, Emily, and Amy, which was alright. Afterwards, a bunch of us went around trying to take pictures with the guys, but it really only made me realize how much I miss Michael (who called!) and my stalkee...
..and that's all I have to say about that.
