Anyway, I found something that's make of complete win. I was bored tonight, and decided to rewatch all of Glee, starting from the beginning. I went to sidereel, as usual, to find the links. I clicked the first one that looked like it might work. A Megavideo link. It seemed normal enough. Little did I know that I had stumbled upon gold.
It's a version of the pilot with scenes that's I've never seen before! I found a version with the deleted scenes included! Maybe everyone else in Glee fandom knew this existed, or maybe it's on the DVDs, but I had never even heard of any of these scenes before. This also solves the mystery of where the song "Leaving on a Jetplane" came from on the soundtrack. Hooooly shit. I am so pleased.
