Last night I played scrabble and made up words like vestige and churn, which might I add, happened to land on a certain triple word score. Then I went to bed and counted sheep for oh, lets say a few hours. I woke up late, then went to a movie with Rashied. There wasn't much playing, but we ended up seeing 28 days later. It had it's low budget special effects, it's cliche romantic attraction between the two main characters (mind you, as the world was being destroyed and they were being attacked by fear breeding subhumans) and it's rather dissapointing end. Your typical movie. The only thing I remotely enjoyed was the fact that the supposed "infected" portrayed a sort of indecent reality that is the world today. People killing people, survival of the fittest, kill or be killed. I suppose if the playwriter had taken a bit more time to delve into the storyline, he/she could have possibly made the script much better. I mean, isn't that the problem with movies today, these wish wash screenwriters aren't producing anything decent. But they dont care, they dont give a shit, as long as we're kept quiet that's all that matters. What ever happend to movies like american beauty, magnolia, or girl interrupted. It's pitiful, movie theatres nowadays. It's no wonder I never step foot in one. Se La Vi.
So we're going out to dinner tonight at franky's, a little restraunt downtown with greek salads and vegetarian hamburgers. It should be good. Tomorrow I'm leaving and I know it'll come sooner than later.
