Now I like Uhm Jung-hwa
So Uhm Jung-hwa came out with her mini album D.I.S.C.O recently. I listened to it, saw the MV, it's not horrible but it's not fantastic either. Sure, TOPs in it but that doesn't excuse the way out there fashion choices she seems to be sporting.
Oh well, can't like everyone.
But after seeing pics from her performance at the Swimming Pool Concert... it only cements my belief that older women in Korea have all the fun
Half naked men do nothing for me but the fact that she has the balls to summon hairy Korean men in speedos during one of her performances wins her major points in my books.
I've noticed that females in the Korean entertainment industry are often viewed as cute and sweet and innocent and have a strict code of what is and isn't proper, but the older they get the more free reign they have when it comes to how they present themselves. Women in their late 20s and above are certainly less pressured to live up to the standard and talk more freely when it comes to cosmetic surgery and other controversial subjects. That and they just ooze ten times more sex appeal than their younger competition.
I hope I look that good when I'm 39.
