Terrifiying week I had ...

After my journey and lovely trip from Chicago, I have developed a sore throat and it was getting worse where I couldnt even hardly eat anything. So on April 9th I went to a Dr. at cambridge health center and they checked me out and discovered I had tonisillitis, pharyngitis, and ashma because that same day I had trouble breathing and chest was hurting like someone punched me in it hard. So after they found all that out and asked me the question all doctors ask when was LMP I told them and they still had the nerve to want to give me a pregnancy test and I knew I was not in danger of that gee. My baby is only 6months old dont plan on another til much later. Let him walk and talk first lol. So they did that test and then gave me a EKG which was normal I guess to check my heart and everything. Then they gave me a shot in my butt of Rocephin because they also asked me was I allegeric to meds which I told them no I wasn't. They prescribed me with Penicillin and pro air for ashma. Once all that was over after 20 minutes of that shot setting in and we were off to the store to get my meds I started itching and then seen I was developing these bumps and once I got home it was even more bumps all over my body where I could not sleep at night. I was so miserable and red at that. I figured it was an reaction from the shot I had. So on April 10 I was home and tried contacting as many people as possible to find out what I should do and got my aunt in Alabama and she heard in my voice I didnt sound to well. I told her and she immidiately told me to go to the ER ASAP because that can be dangerous. So I did go to the ER once Mario got home and they took me right away that is how bad it was they saw my arms, and face, and chest was red they didnt see my legs which was the same and back. SO they took me and gave me meds to help the itiching and hives I had. They made sure my tounge was not swollen and throat was ok. They gave me the meds and I relaxed in the hospital til they seen improvment that it was working. They gave me prednisone as a shot in arm, benadryl, and pepsid in the hospital and prescribed me the prednisone in tablets.

I am glad I went in to the hospital because it could have gotten worser than it did. I would have probably went on my own too but it did help more with the advise. Cuz I was going nuts with all the itching and tring to take care of baby too at same time. I really want thinking much about going to the ER. But glad I did. Today I feel so much better.
