I had so much fun ice skating today! Sure, I was completely frozen but it was so FUN! And I was actually really good at it. I was afraid I was going to fall on my ass, but I didn't :O I was very proud. I was even skating backwards and doing little spins (nothing fancy! Those pics are really cute!!! So my friends went ice skating today, I totally missed out cuz I had to work. it looks like you guys had fun! I love skating, though it really kills on the ankles.... You totally look like a pro

Haha yeah it's always a little scary stepping out onto the ice. I still get freaked for the first like five minutes and I learned to skate when I was two....

Oh wow. See, I always wanted to ice skate when I was younger but we didn't have a rink then. I felt deprived :P

Hardly... I can move forward and backward and spin but that's about it, lol. We don't skate enough for me to get good. Since my mom grew up in Finland, she used to be doing like jumps and stuff when I was little, it was so cool. Alas, my ankles are too craptastic to do anything fun like that. That was seriously your first time, though? I'm suprised you even got off the wall, lol. My friends refuse to, lol. It would be sad to not have ice skated all those years, though. We never went to the rink, but there's a lake nearby (I live in Wisconsin, btw, so the lakes are always frozen) that we went on.

That's pretty much what I can do too. Ahhh. Yeah, it's kind of awe-inspiring to watch others skate like that, with the jumps and the twirls and things.

Yeah, one of my other friends, Marianna, didn't get off the wall at all :P

It's probably nice to be able to skate outdoors though instead of indoors.

Nah, outdoors the ice is all covered in snow and ridges from the wind. Plus indoors has the wall :P

True...I hadn't thought of that. I bet the ridges make it more difficult to stay on your feet too.
