My heart-breaking story (ft. Prince Series PB Collection)... gdi
So, let me start on how I met D2 (what?). To be honest, I was only able to get to know them better when spring started. Yeah, I know D2 and D-Boys' existence for years (2 to be specific. Short period, i know) but it was only now that I tried to get to know them like, know them wholeheartedly.
And now, I am trying my best to find friends on the same circle (because obviously, most of my fg friends are either JE fans, fujoshi, otaku, or cassie), but it's really hard. When I started on JE, it was quite easy because the talents have individual groups as singers. Like, I can easily type 'Hey! Say! JUMP' and voila! there'd be JUMP articles everywhere. Furthermore, it is undeniably true that JE fandom in the Philippines is quite well-known than WE. -- That's why I found friends right away, and I was able to learn things about JE's talents easily.
But, in D2's case, it's different. Maybe because the name 'D2' itself is confusing if you just search it as is on Google. There'd be articles about racing, cars, etc. Luckily, I found d2boys and fuckyeahd2boys -- I felt quite satisfied and assured. As of this moment, I was able to make one friend on twitter -- and I'm glad. This must be the start, ne?
Now, my only problem is about buying the goods. I've already missed a lot of releases, but that's not the point. Since, as what I have said, you can rarely find D2 fans here, online shops don't normally open pre-orders for their stuffs. So I tried browsing yesasia's site, and I was able to find these: PDB DVD, The First Message DVDs, Meshi tomo DVD box, Always PB, Haru Doko 2011 & 2012, TV Kyokuchuu Hatto DVDs, and some D-Stage DVDs.
So I was like, 'YAY! They have a lot!' but when I searched for Bakumatsu Festival DVD, I found none. (Actually, I think I saw it but when I tried to find it again, it didn't appear anymoaaar)
Then... it was announced last March that Ohmi Youichiro, Mitsuya Ryo and Ikeoka Ryosuke will be releasing their solo photo books for the (sort of) revival of Prince Series D-Boys Collection. (thank you fyd2boys for the info ;_;) It was released last Tuesday (May 13), but when I tried to find it on yesasia... they hazzz none ;_;
HMV and cd japan have these PBs though... but I would have to pay the shipping fee which seems to be of larger amount than the photo book itself!
Photo book 2400 yen. || Shipping: more or less 3000 yen.
... And that's the end of my heart-breaking story. I am so lost right now.
What should I do...
You-chan's been luring me since last week.
