welcome me back!!!
hello livejournal. remember me ? i certainly have some fond (and some not so fond) memories of you!!! emmy jo and i were talking via aim, and still sort of are, about how awesome a role lj played in our lives and have decided to start writing again. this is exciting as i have been thinking about writing things down anyway because i have such a terrible memory and i don't want to forget things that happen forever.
so i'm at work right now..in the boogie down..and i'm bored as hell. only 50 more minutes until i go home and i am tres excited about it. i hate being out and about on rainy disgusting days. my rainboots help though. i don't know what i did before them. i seriously suggest every girl gets a pair. they keep my feet nice and toasty..although they make my feet smell a little on the funny side. it's the price i pay for dry socks! plus, who smells my feet besides me and jameson ? and whoever comes into the office because i'm sitting here barefoot and with my feet up like it's my house. haha.
i really have nothing at all to say. i haven't done anything or had anything exciting happen in awhile. i just do the same ol' thing over and over. i'm not gonna lie though, i enjoy it. having a routine is kind of nice, as long as i can break it every once in awhile.
ooh, i know! how about i talk about what i did over the weekend ? sounds good to me...
okay, so my weekend started early. i made plans to hang out with erika thursday after work. so we were supposed to meet at jay st. at 6:15. of course 20 minutes before i'm supposed to leave at 5, there's some kind of commotion. apparently, some scaffolding fell from the construction across the street onto the 2/5 train tracks (it's an elevator train). so because of that i had to walk all the way to the 6 train. then i fucked up and took the train to 74th/broadway and had to go all the way back down to brooklyn through manhattan. i got to jay st really late but still managed to meet up with her.
so we made our way back to my apartment and stopped by milk farm to get some food. then we get to my house and hang out for a bit. my sister shows up a little after ten with the ps2. after then we played singstar rocks for hours and hours on end. erika kicked my ass but i had a good time in the process, which is what i think counts more than anything. after that we just fucked around, played a little bit of monopoly party, family feud and of course watched tunak tunak.
the next morning we woke up super late when jameson got back home from his road test. he passed!! whoo!! that means he'll get his car pseudo-soon and i can steal it and drive myself places. after that we took a nap and then when we woke up erika went home.
friday i spent lounging around the house with jameson. usual weekend fun.
then saturday night connie came over and we "cooked." let's just say that the chicken wasn't cooked, the cheese was sticky and the potatoes were still hard. obviously connie and i didn't do a very good job. whatever. it was still pretty good. so connie and i spent the rest of the day smoking and playing singstar rocks and pops. it was good times. i kick ass at all of the girl songs and connie with her manly voice is a pro at the gorillaz and the clash. hahaha sorry connie.
anyway, i'm about to leave and finally go home so this entry will come to an end. i look forward to posting again in the near future.
