La Corda D'Oro, Len/Hino: Colored Scans, Wallpaper & Icons
So I was bitten by the lovebug and I apparently love this ship more than I thought. I colored some scans - practice makes perfect, y'know? - and eventually made a wallpaper and icons from them. YAY me for being productive and not merely staring at the computer for so looooong. :D :D

This was from Volume 4, Chapter... er... I forget, but anyway, you should know this - that scene where Len had a fever and he took hold of Hino's hand in the practice room? Yeahhhhh. That scene. I love this panel so much, because it's very refreshing, seeing Len surprised like that, waking up only to find out that Hino's beside him, napping. :D
This was in the page right after, and it's the first time in the manga that he blushes so hard. HAAAAAAAHAHAH. I adore blushing!Len. He's always so cool and detached, so it's nice to see him flustered like this. I like to think of this as a prelude to the future times that he blushes equally hard. :D
This was in Chapter Fifty-Something. Context: Hino's practicing on the rooftop, and she can't seem to get the piece right. She stops, complains a bit, mutters something about how, if Len were there, he'd be saying this and that and complaining about how bad she plays, and then he does come and actually hears what she just said. Fast forwarding... He listens to her play anyway, correcting her as she does, and eventually she finishes the piece, and for the first time, she played it rather well. In her happiness and gratefulness, she grabs hold of his hands and says, "I did it, Tsukimori-kun!" And realizing what she just did, she releases his hands, says sorry but doesn't think much of it and instead thinks of playing it again. On the other hand, however, Len blushes again, and keep in mind that he hasn't blushed in the manga in so long. HEEEEE. :) Anyway, click on the image to get a bigger view.

a waltz for the girl out of reach~
...Not that Hino's totally out of reach, but I suppose I thought it fitting for Tsukimori because doesn't he have an internal struggle between his dreams of becoming a famous musician and his growing feelings for Kahoko? He dreams of Europe, but perhaps he dreams of her, too.
It might just be the shipper in me dreaming. :P Either way, I love this pairing!
