I'm not very familiar with ingredients because before all I really care about was having a great food to eat. I never have a problem with food because our personal cook really cooks fine. But you know the leisure of having someone to cook for our family isn't really good at all because this had been the problem why I couldn't cook well. Actually, ( Read more... )

Have you had risotto? I haven't tasted risotto yet but I am so darn curious to taste it. lol. Cooking it is a bit of a challenge because of the rice. darn.

Yeah you're right. I think I was being too excited to try to experiment. WHen I realized that I am not yet that familiar with the ingredients, I told myself to go back reading. ANd yep, I know reading from the cookbook will enhance my skill. :>

reading ABOUT cooking is not the same as cooking. Reading without practice is nothing. Try to cook something proved:)
I cook risotto quite often, it is easy and tasty. I know the very easy recipe of it - the vegetarian is the easiest, the same with chiken- is longer a bit, but not much more difficult:) If you need a recipe, I can share it with you:)

don't use quick-cooking rice. I don't know what the sorts of rice are being sold in your city, but if you have a choice in the shop, choose good rice. Not necessary some special sort, but not quick-cooking one. May be you can find a comment on the package, for which dish fits this sort of rice:)
