SVSU: Trying to make up for past grievances?

Aug 15, 2004 21:10

Recently (well, okay, not so recently) I made a statement declaring SVSU to be the devil. But perhaps they are trying to redeem themselves....

I looked up my housing assignment the other day online, and I came across a pleasant surprise: following my name was not an assignment to a First-Year Suite, as I expected, but rather something better: Living Center South. Now, I could be making a complete fool out of myself, but in looking at the online floor plans for Living Center South, the 4-person apartments (which is what I have been assigned to [I would assume, anyway, since I have 3 dormmates]) have 4 bedrooms. Which would logically mean we each have a bedroom to ourselves.

If this is truly the case, I will be extremely thrilled and will forgive SVSU any grudge I previously held against her. I don't plan on bringing it to their attention, but if I'm right, I don't meet any of the criteria for being a resident of Living Center South - I'm a first-year, I'm not over 19, and I'm not a Youth Foundation Scholar.

I guess we'll find out for sure come August 25th at Check-In. Until then, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I don't even have a room where I am now, so a room to myself would be a Godsend...
