restless. yeah thats the word ill use to describe how im feeling. completely restless.
this past week was busy. i got home monday night and spent tuesday resting before having to return to good ole' work wednesday morning. the only thing that kept me going that day was looking forward to seeing Race the Sun that night. the show was so much fun and the guys are AMAZING. you really have no idea how much they make me smile. theyre genuine&&make me realize why i love music so much. we all went to the b eff eff's after the show and drank, laughed, and talked about life&& music. i had some reallly good music talks with them and they are probably completly amused//amazed at how big of a music nerd i truly am. me&& jason goofed off and took silly pictures, i sang old school saves the day with james&&matt as the b eff eff and daniel laughed...it was such a good time...we stayed up till about 4am and i had to get up for work at 8:30, and they left about 10...i didnt want them to leave, but it was great having them come twice in one month && kind of a tease at the same time, because they wont be back until june/july. but the night was much needed. and i smiled a lot.
ive spent the last 3 days relaxing and catching up with laundry and cleaning stuff. im gettin rid of a lot of junk to make the move a little easier. i really cant wait to get out of here. i love my friends//family so much, but i feel like my life is missing something. i want to be back in school and on the way to becoming the person i know i can be. i want to prove to myself that i can do this. five years from now, i want to be sitting at a desk going over budgets&& planning amazing tours, and finding great bands, so that kids like me can go to shows and have good times, and walk away with huge smiles on their faces. just like i do, everytime the music stops playing and i walk out of a venue. im not chosing this career for fame,fortune,meeting cool people, or any of those material things, im doing this because i know just how much of a difference music makes in peoples lives. and at the end of the day, after you turn off mtv, and stop looking at the bands pretty little faces, theres one thing that should still be most important, and thats the music.
