One reason why I hate driving: TOO MANY IDIOTS ON THE ROAD.
(Yes I know I shouldn't be complaining, but trust me, this is a FACT)
If you don't already know by now, I try my best to avoid honking people.
One reason why I don't honk: They're so not worth my energy honking.
I think I've only honked thrice at most since I got my licence 6 months ago.
And for honking, one gave me the hand and another honked me back TWICE.
I honked the former because she wanted to cut into my lane at the very last minute
(and mind you, I was already in the decelerating lane, ready to turn left in 5 metres)
My fault? I think not. She, who doesn't have an ugly P-plate stuck on both the front
and back of her damned car should have taken the left lane instead of the middle
if she jolly well knew she was going to turn left OR use the u-turn further up in front.
As for the latter, that fourty year old dude with his shades on came into my lane
(not just slightly, like 5cm, which is tolerable, but his wheels were in my lane)
and for warning him that "I'm here", he honked me back twice. Childish? Yes.
My fault? I think not, and I'd like to think that his oh-so-cool sunglasses has
perhaps attributed to his blindness, which in turn nearly got us into an accident
since it was only a two lane road, for which the lanes were not very wide, of course.
