Horrible feelings...

We had to put Koda to sleep yesterday. He went into complete liver failure and after 2.5 years of fighting his inflammatory bowel disease, we couldn't handle putting him through more testing and poking and prodding. He hated being at the vet and he hated being tested and poked and having blood drawn. We couldn't put him through more and he couldn't even get up on his own, he started having seizures at the vet's office shortly after we got there. We made the decision to just put him to sleep and it's the hardest thing I've had to do in some time. I miss him so much, he was my guy.

Gage is doing awesome. He is a wonderful, fantastic baby! I had so many wonderful thoughts in my head of Gage learning to walk with Koda and cuddling with him because Koda was so sweet and gentle...

Sad doesn't even begin to describe how I feel.
