Original info post for Priestly is
here.
Priestly's a punk. I don't just mean he looks like one. He's as punk as a kid born in the early nineties can possibly hope to be. He had crazy hair and wears t-shirts with strange slogans on them. He has "more artificial holes in his head than real ones". His full name is Boaz Priestly. This is something that few people on the island know, and he likes it that way.
Some bullet points:
Priestly in canon:
- Priestly's from Santa Cruz
- He's smart. He tosses around words like "mutually exclusive" and thinks analytically.
- He's a smart-ass. Take my word on that.
- He's caring. He hates people who don't treat other people with respect.
- He's sometimes just a little bit of a hypocrite (but who isn't?)
- He's a conspiracy theory buff. Elvis is alive and well in Priestly's mind, as is Jimmy Hoffa. Lee Harvey Oswald was a government patsy and Reagan conspired to organize Lennon's death.
- He's close friends with a hippie named "Trucker" who owns a sub shop.
- He's terribly insecure about his manhood and relationships, but he pretends not to be.
- He loves his kilt.
- He's straight.
What I've extrapolated about his home life:
- Priestly doesn't get along with his parents. His mother disapproves vehemently with his look and attitude. His father is fairly indifferent to the whole thing and mostly goes along with what his wife says.
- He's a former football player. He played defensive tackle.
- He was "normal" looking up until sometime last summer, when something -- not yet specified -- happened to make him question the world and his place in it, turning him towards the punk movement.
- Just before being sent away to school to "straighten him out", Priestly set fire to his khakis in protest and accidentally burned a good chunk of his mother's garden. So, you know, he's a little bit of a pyro.
- He's not a great fighter. He takes a stance that this is because he believes in non-violence and non-violent protest first. Actually, it's because he's just not a great fighter. Much to his dismay.
- He doesn't handle cold weather well.
- He's possibly not as straight as he thinks he is.
Priestly in Fandom:
- He works at Luke's Diner, where he has a long standing feud with the kitchen staff.
- He's on the cheerleading squad. Mostly because most people he knew back at home would be appalled to hear he's a cheerleader.
- He's best friends with Dinah Lance and Edward of Andalasia (and he and Edward need to get together more often for more adventures)
- He's dating Claudia Kishi, and probably falling in love with her.
- He wants to start a roller derby league (and will, if I can ever figure out how that would work in RP land)
- He thinks Worf has no joy in life and that Arthur (and any other royalty type, including Edward, though he's gentler about it with him) needs to learn about democracy and other forms of government.
- He thinks he has better musical taste than you. Unless you're Peyton or Chad.
- He thinks the island is out to get everyone.
- He thinks Dean is kinda creepy and fascinating, but won't say that to his face.
- He's the dorm hair-dye guru (and pusher).
- For the most part, you tell him anything and he'll accept it at face value.
Geez, did I babble on enough, there?
Coyote is rather more complicated, what with powers and all, and his info post is
here. And he needs to get out more.
The mun is 27, goes by "Iz" or "Bella", lives on the East Coast, can access the net from work on weekdays (for the most part), but is often not around on Sundays due to work that takes her away from the computer. She's usually down with just about anything.
